Michael Keogh is the Business Manager at Coherics, where he draws on more than 15 years of experience in operational leadership, stakeholder engagement, and strategic business development across hospitality, events, and the Defence sector. In his role, Michael steers the internal operations of Coherics - providing executive support, shaping national communications strategies, and driving organisational performance and client growth.
He manages Coherics’ social media, marketing, website, and corporate collateral, ensuring the company’s public profile reflects its position as a leader in delivering integrated training system solutions. Michael also oversees the internal intranet environment, aligning digital workflows with business needs and enabling seamless integration of people, processes, and technology across the organisation.
After an award-winning career in hospitality and venue management, Michael transitioned into the Defence industry, bringing with him a proven ability to lead under pressure, cultivate culture, and drive compliance. At Coherics, he oversees human resources, leads internal policy compliance, and contributes to strategic planning, business development, and project coordination. His background in scaling teams, managing brand identities, and delivering complex operational outcomes underpins his agile and holistic approach to business management.
Nationally recognised for his leadership in the hospitality sector, Michael previously co-founded and operated a portfolio of acclaimed venues. His entrepreneurial experience informs a strong commercial acumen and a commitment to fostering inclusive workplace culture and ethical leadership.
Michael will complete his Complex Project Management qualifications before the end of the year, further strengthening his ability to integrate strategic oversight with hands-on delivery. He ensures Coherics’ communications, operational systems, and stakeholder engagement are executed to the highest standard, supporting the company’s mission of delivering fully integrated training capabilities in support of sovereign Defence readiness.
Outside of work, Michael serves as Vice President of the Hahndorf Rifle Club, enjoys exploring South Australia’s food and wine regions, spending quality time with friends and family, and cooking elaborate meals that bring people together.
