Michael Keogh is the Business Manager at Coherics, where he draws on more than 15 years of experience in operational leadership, stakeholder engagement, and strategic business development across hospitality, events, and the Defence sector. In this role, Michael steers the internal operations of Coherics — providing executive support, shaping national communications strategies, and driving organisational performance and client growth.

After an award-winning career in hospitality and venue management, Michael transitioned into the Defence industry, bringing with him a proven ability to lead under pressure, cultivate culture, and drive compliance. At Coherics, he oversees human resources, leads internal policy compliance, and contributes to strategic planning and business development initiatives. He is currently expanding into project and team coordination roles as part of a structured pathway toward formal Project Management accreditation.

Nationally recognised for his leadership in the hospitality sector, Michael previously co-founded and operated a portfolio of acclaimed venues. His experience in scaling teams, managing brand identities, and coordinating logistics now informs a holistic, agile approach to business operations within Coherics. He is especially committed to mentoring future leaders, fostering inclusive workplace culture, and advocating for ethical leadership.

Michael is undertaking formal studies in Leadership and Complex Project Management, and is proficient in Microsoft 365 and SharePoint environments. He also leads Coherics’ digital and social media communications, including generating and designing internal & external assets, helping position the company as a thought leader within the Defence training ecosystem. His professional journey reflects a deliberate shift — harnessing entrepreneurial energy to support sovereign capability through world-class training system development.
